HB Environmental Engineers, Inc., is an environmental
engineering and consulting company established in 1987, and
is specialized in the design, supply, installation and maintenance
of industrial wastewater treatment systems. These are physical,
chemical and biological treatment systems for the removal of
heavy metals (such as copper, lead, zinc, chromium, cadmium),
cyanides, color, paint, oil, suspended solids, total dissolved
solids, BOD and COD.
Each system is designed to meet the
specific requirements of each client, based on the space available,
quality and quantity of wastewater discharged and the requirements
set forth by the industrial waste enforcement agencies of each
city, state or country. Zero-discharge and recycling/reuse systems
are also provided.
Treatability studies are performed on wastewater samples
from each client to evaluate various treatment options.
We supply highly effective liquid coagulants and powder flocculants
that are used for water and industrial wastewater clarification
for the effective removal of suspended solids, color, oil and
heavy metals.
| In each project, various options
are evaluated in addition to treatability studies. The
optimum and most suitable system is chosen and decided
upon, in close cooperation with the client’s engineer
or maintenance manager. A schematic flow diagram and plan
view is presented to the client as well as to the City
or County enforcement agencies for their approval. A proposal
is presented where all the necessary equipment and chemicals
are specified. |

Normally a project is completed within 6-12 weeks from the
date of getting the order, depending on the complexity of
the system.
